Your Experiential Journey
Async Foundations (60 hrs)
Build your personal and professional base. Through flexible online modules, explore essential frameworks like Internal Family Systems, Somatic Awareness, Mindfulness, and Circling—while deepening your embodiment and understanding of self. This phase prepares you for transformational group work and lays the groundwork for the rest of the journey.
Live Weekly Labs (40 hrs)
Apply what you’ve learned in real time. In these guided group sessions, you’ll practice presence, attunement, emotional tracking, and compassionate communication—building confidence through experiential skill-building with peers and facilitators.
Participant OPEN Retreat (16 hrs)
Experience the work from the inside out. Attend a legally regulated 3-day retreat as a participant to fully immerse in Ceremonia’s integrated model of education, embodiment workshops, and group medicine ceremony. This practicum allows you to receive before you give—developing empathy, humility, and insight.
Student Immersion Retreat (40 hrs total / 8 hrs practicum)
Step into the circle as a student practitioner. Join a supervised in-person training retreat with live instruction, role-play, group process, and shadow facilitation. You’ll assist in the healing container while continuing to build foundational skills—bridging the gap between theory and practice.
Apprentice Open Retreat (16 hrs practicum)
Take the seat of the apprentice facilitator. In your final practicum, you’ll serve in a leadership capacity at a live medicine retreat—supporting preparation, ceremony, and integration. Receive hands-on mentorship and structured feedback to prepare for licensed independent practice.
Mentorship & Consultation (50 hrs)

Peter Will Benjamin is one of the joyful co-founders of The Connection Institute. As lead staff trainer and Creative Director he delights in caring for the staff and students. Peter also works as a Professional Coach and teaches continuing ed for Coaches and Therapists.
